In excess of 130 stall holders are carefully selected throughout the year to ensure that a balanced, high quality range of products is on offer at the Fair, including locally sourced food and drink, artwork, presents and decorations.
Along with lots of beautiful gift ideas, there will also be a café serving refreshments, lunch and afternoon tea, along with a fully licensed bar.
Please note - ASSISTANCE DOGS ONLY
Once again, a triumph, I am truly grateful by the huge amount of visitors and stallholders who all travel far and wide, thank you all for coming and supporting our wonderful charities.
I will announce in the New Year the amounts each charity will receive.
Huge thanks as always to the Pickford family for hosting the event, Alpha Hire for the marque, WGS for the electrics, Royal Flush for the toilets, Relish for the catering and all my lovely helpers on the door and in the car park.
Lastly, I would like to thank John and Amy, for all their continued support together with my amazing “website lady” Roxzanne from All About Sites, this event would not happen without them.
Best wishes
Julie
Julie Curtis and her family, organisers of the Beaufort Hunt Christmas Fair said: “The Christmas Fair is an important annual community event in our calendar; not only does it provide a platform for businesses and a great shopping experience for local people on the run up to the festive period but it raises valuable funds for specific local charities, something we are immensely proud to achieve”.
This year we are thrilled to have given £4,000 each to Wiltshire Air Ambulance, Youth Action Wiltshire and Tetbury Hospital. Each saying ….
“Wiltshire Air Ambulance are very grateful to the organisers and attendees of the Beaufort Christmas Fair for their ongoing support of our lifesaving work. We receive no regular government funding and rely on donations to help raise the £4.5m we need each year to run the service. Thanks to this generous gift we can continue be there for anyone who lives, works or travels in Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas when they need us most”
“Youth Action Wiltshire is the national award winning ‘Youth Arm’ of Community First supporting local communities in the Swindon and Wiltshire areas, and we really appreciate once again your very generous donation and kindness which will be put towards assisting the respite for the young carers, their outdoor activities , courses in art, music , and directing them to dealing with everyday life”
“Tetbury Hospital as an independent healthcare provider, we deliver high quality services on behalf of the NHS and for private patients, and we cannot thank you enough for your very kind donation which will be put to immediate use with the upgrade of our Minor Injury Unit which will directly benefit everyone in our area”.
Every year the Beaufort Christmas Fair supports 2 vital charities.
We are thrilled to announce we have donated £5,000 each to Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Youth Action Wiltshire.
We shall be doing a cheque presentation at our meet on Friday 4th March
